Vineyard in terrace

50 kilometers in the south of Lyon, the vineyard of  Saint Joseph  is cultivated on the right-hand side of the rhone river ; it produces red and white wines. Like all the vineyards of the edge of the Rhone, it is known since l'époque Gallo-Roman. Before the appellation names, it was known under the name of " wine of Mauves".
