In 1400, we find Desire de Baronnat and Geoffroy de Baronnat in the crusade at the side of Godefroy de Bouillon.
They come from Metz in the east from France.
Geoffroy de Baronnat comes alone from the crusade and stay in Annonay in the south from Lyon.
Descendants from Geoffroy de Baronnat live in Rhone Alpes area - Lyon, Grenoble - and in the Piemont area.
The part of the family which is in Lyon bargain with Jacques Coeur.
