The cousin of the Beaujolais wine. Cultivated in the mountains near Lyon, on the west side. the 350 hectares produce 22 000 hectolitres of wine including 2 000 hectolitres of white wine. This vineyard existed when Lyon - Lugdunum - was the capital of the gaules.
