Jean Baronnat wine merchant
At the end of the nineteen seventies, I entered the family business. After having won my spurs as a representative, i took responsability for the cellars, then the administration and marketing side. I selected my first Cuvees which I bottled in 1982 - of course my fther was there. Then, for a few years, we bought the wines together. Since the end of nineteen eighties, i have been in sole charge of this work, which is vital for our business. It was in fact at that time that the wines from the Mediterrean Coast firstapperd in our selection of wines ; Costieres de Nimes, Coteaux du languedoc, "Vin de Pays" regional wines.

My father taught me all I know about wine when he made me taste Cuvees which he had selected, and also the work of findind and blending wines, which we did together.

Guide Dussert Gerber 2013

Superb Moulin a Vent 2009, a large wine intense color, classic, firm and spicy, with powerful tannins but tasty,
texture dense cover.
The 2009 Fleurie combines the finesse and structure, tannins both rich and silky.
Excellent 2009 Côte de Brouilly , brilliant ruby ??color, with hints of cherry,
a pleasure wine as they know to do in the area.
2009 Morgon, dark ruby color, fleshy nose of ripe fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant) and humus,
is a wine we like, good structure,   bold, stylish and very fragrant, very successful.
There is also 2011 Beaujolais Villages " bois de la Fee"
mouth intense and dominated by blackberry wine combining flexibility and aromatic intensity,
 harmonious and well balanced.
really nice 2011 Beaujolais rosé .
Try also 2011 Macon Solutré Pouilly white, which combines aromatic richness and persistence,
fresh palate with overtones of hazelnut and apricot and white 2010 Mâcon Villages , which blends
notes of almond and heather, round mouth like 2011 Saint Veran white .
There is also an excellent red 2009 Crozes Hermitage , well bodied palate, with hints of currant and plum. No hesitation.
